The goal of this new feature is to elevate the overall meeting experience and to provide its users with greater security, flexibility, and control.
The updated feature has been integrated with Microsoft Outlook and Google Apps to allow users to schedule, start, and join meetings with enhanced security and accessibility. It also includes a new digital whiteboard application that is powered by the newly-acquired Kaptivo technology thus, leveraging the video conferencing technology across their organizations.
As per the recent reports released by Gartner Research, around half of the employees in many organizations will continue to work remotely to control the further spread of the novel coronavirus and as a result, the organizations will need to provide technical support and solutions that will help employees to work from anywhere without having any difficulty.

Lifesize® cloud conferencing platform can be accessed via a web browser, desktop, and mobile application. Its new features consist of enhanced directory support, integrated login, and a dedicated ‘call me’ link with new layouts. It also has a digital whiteboard and a ‘raise hand’ option during group meetings along with waiting rooms, user permissions, and live stream facility.
Earlier, on 20th August 2020, Lifesize® acquired Kaptivo, a digital collaboration solutions company, to expand its cloud-based portfolio and collaboration offerings for contact centers, video conferencing, and meeting rooms. In March, the company also collaborated with Serenova, a leading CCaaS provider, to create ‘Contact Center Communications and Workplace Collaboration Company’ for over 10,000 customers globally. On 30th June 2020, Lifesize® expanded its connectivity with Microsoft Teams video meetings and other third-party video conferencing applications to enable its customers to switch easily between a wide range of cloud video conferencing services using the existing Lifesize® meeting room devices.
