August 17, 2020: PwC Middle East announced a brand-new partnership with Tanium that aims to bring together Tanium’s endpoint management and security platform along with PwC's years of experience in cyber security and digital transformation.
PwC has been working with Tanium since 2013 in different capacities, whereas the two companies announced their official partnership only in July 2015. This partnership has allowed PwC to add Tanium Accelerators to their Cyber Security Practice which is useful in supporting companies in issues such as threat intelligence, incidence response as well as remediation and integration consulting. In the last five years, similar partnerships have been established across several regions, including the Netherlands and United Kingdom. The most recent partnership was in July 2019 in Singapore, on their way towards regions closer to the Middle East, a key strategic region. This has helped PwC to extend its partnership with Tanium into the Middle East industrial market. Through the alliance with Tanium, clients with one of the companies as their service provider will now be able to attain clear visibility endpoints and insight into the hygiene of their IT environment, engage in proactive discovery, perform risk modelling, and obtain real-time threat alerts.
Tom Herrmann, Vice President of Global Alliances and Channel at Tanium, stated that the organization was delighted to extend its partnership with PwC as it has provided the company with global coverage across Europe, North America, Asia as well as the Middle East as of late.
Matt Ellard, EMEA Managing Director at Tanium stated that Business leaders faced mounting pressure to handle thousands of network endpoints and keep sensitive information safe in order to ensure optimum security and privacy for their customers. Furthermore, he also stated that the organization was looking forward to extending its longtime partnership with PwC as it would help its clients in accurately monitor and remediate issues in their IT environment in real time.
