New South Wales, September 04, 2020: Australian workforce management and optimization solutions provider, Tambla has recently announced that it has acquired the enterprise and Government payroll specialist, Datacom Business Services (DBS) for an undisclosed sum.
DBS is a payroll service provider and system integrator that deals in payroll services, SAP system integration, and hosted services. It has its offices in Melbourne and Brisbane and has been serving for more than 25 years in the enterprise and Government sectors.
The acquisition aims to strengthen the presence of Tambla in the Enterprise and Government HCM sector. It is expected that the transaction will double the revenue and net profit of the company that would allow Tambla to enhance its position in the dynamic ANZ healthcare industry and capitalize on the growth of the sector. Tambla also believes that this strategic acquisition will offer the potential for streamlined, integrated solutions for both its, and DBS’s customers working in today's highly demanding workforce and payroll environments.
Founded in 1972, Tambla is an Information Technology company that provides innovative HR solutions for top enterprises. It supports over 200 customers worldwide in more than 5800 locations which include Government organizations, global ports, transportation, retail, aviation, health, and hospitality sector.
Chris Fydler, the Managing Director of Tambla is excited about this acquisition of DBS and stated that this new addition will help the company to improve its operational capacity and enhanced its product portfolio in the national market.
Recently, Tambla helped Hume City Council save their time and money by implementing electronic timesheets to leverage the payroll process. It helped them to streamline the process through digital transformation to a paperless payroll system thus reducing the hassle to deal with paper bundles.
