Toronto, Ontario, 21, Aug 2020- The esports and entertainment organization, Tiidal Gaming Group Inc. has secured a sponsorship agreement with the gaming supplement brand XP Sports for its esports and gaming division, Lazarus Esports. XP Sports is a new gaming brand developed by Iovate Health Sciences International Inc. based in Oakville, Canada.
XP Sports has signed a two-year deal and will get a dual sponsorship responsibility of sponsoring upcoming tournaments and games. Additionally, XP Sports will be sponsoring and working with the athletes and teams under the Lazarus banner as well as its various content creators.
Lazarus team is confident that XP Sports’ umbrella of scientifically approved products will deliver key benefits which are paramount to achieving success in the esports gaming space. XP Sports specialises in formulas specially made for esports athletes and gamers. This new product has been formulated keeping in mind the unique competitive requirements of esports creators and athletes. It is designed especially for these athletes to enhance their muscle reaction, focus and muscle memory performance as they need to make split-second decisions that can make a difference in winning or losing.
On this occasion CEO of Tiidal Gaming, Charlie Watson expressed his delight on this partnership. Senior Director of Marketing at Iovate Health Sciences International Inc, Barry Alexander, was also happy at this partnership and said that with Lazarus, they’ll be able to generate the attention of the younger demographic towards its brands.
This partnership with XP Sports comes after a series of acquisitions and other partnerships made by Tiidal. Recently, in June 2020, Lambton College, Canada partnered with Tiidal Gaming for creating experiential learning opportunities for its esports students. Tiidal Gaming also acquired the gaming platform Space Esports in September 2019. In 2019, Lazarus Esports also partnered with the SheIS Collective. This venture was to help raise awareness about women in sports. Peripheral manufacturer Logitech G, agency Charlie and apparel manufacturer META threads are amongst Lazarus’ other partners.
Lazarus Esports is the No. 1 ranked Canadian esports team and is in the top-25 teams around the globe. At the Fortnite World Cup 2019 held in New York, they won USD 3.5 million.
According to a report published in Forbes in 2019, the esports industry has already exceeded revenues of over USD 1 billion and if it continues to rise at the same rate it’ll garner revenues amounting to USD 2.3 billion. With an audience of over 443 million around the world, it is already ahead of American rugby and football combined and is only expected to grow over the years.
